Memorial Garden

In 1988 Father Dan Gerrard suggested to the Vestry that a plan be put in motion for the construction of a Memorial Garden on the Church grounds.  Funds were raised mainly through donations.  Architect Bryan Reed donated his services and designed a beautiful Memorial Garden which resembled a cross.  S & S Construction completed the Memorial Garden and on December 6, 1992 it was dedicated by Bishop Heistand.

Many parishioners have chosen the Memorial Garden as their final resting place.  Plots for in-ground internment as well as niches in the columbarium and free standing pillars are available. A plaque remembering the name, birth and death dates of members are on the bronze plaques secured to the walls around the Memorial Garden.

For many parishioners The Memorial Garden seems appropriate to provide a burial place for their cremains.  The Memorial Garden also provides great comfort to family and friends to have access to a loved one’s burial place at any time.
